国内車両廃棄台数……年間約350万台。
幸いにも作動しなかったエアバック、命を守っていたシートベルト。
これらは素材が強いが故に加工し難く、非常に手間がかかってしまう。
多くが再利用されることなく廃棄されているのが現状です。
そんなエアバックやシートベルトを再利用し新たな価値を吹き込む。廃棄物を減らす取り組みに少しでも貢献できればと考えます。

廃棄されるシートベルトをベルト部分に再利用したサンダル。
シートベルトの耐久性、軽量でしなやかな素材感を活かしたシンプルなデザイン。
ソールはウレタンとラバーの2層構造でクッション性と耐久性を持ち合わせています。

※ATTENTION
廃材を利用している為どうしても個体差がでてしまうこと予めご了承下さい。
生地の組織の違うものや色の個体差(グレーに近いブラック、ブラックに近いグレーなど)
それぞれの個性としてお楽しみ下さい。
左右で色が違う事はありません。

The number of vehicles disposed of in Japan ...... is about 3.5 million per year.
Fortunately, the airbags did not work, and the seatbelts protected lives.
The materials used to make these belts are strong, making them difficult to process and extremely time-consuming.
Many are discarded without being reused.
We are reusing such airbags and seatbelts and infusing them with new value. We hope to contribute to the effort to reduce waste, even if only a little.

These sandals reuse discarded seat belts for the belt portion.
The simple design takes advantage of the durability, light weight, and flexibility of the seatbelt.
The sole is made of two layers of urethane and rubber for cushioning and durability.

ATTENTION
Please be aware that there will inevitably be individual differences due to the use of scrap materials.
Please enjoy the individual differences in color (black close to gray, gray close to black, etc.) as each item has its own character.
Please enjoy it as each individuality.
There is no color difference between left and right side.
